Great work everyone, good to see people keeping up with the dailies, both on here and elsewhere on the net. "CIA GOT YOU PUSHING TOO MANY PENCILS?" Attempted to depict the most epic handshake in cinematic history for day 29 "United"
The buttons are too small IMO. I put some rubber putty on them last time, to make them bigger. I would actually like a grip even fatter than this Ergo thang. So like, a giant pencil =p
Really nice work man! Your pencil drawings are excellent, really fantastic. Some of the painted ones feel a bit "muddy", as if you're using too soft a brush or opacity. Like they lack a bit of sharpness. Look forward to seeing more!
Thank you!:) Jakob Gavelli: Well, not a big thing. I just model the lowpoly, and use vertex snap to fit the texture. Then i paint it in photoshop with pencil tool. I will double the texture, so it will stay sharp even with texture filtering.
Looks like dA has finally taken action on his whole gallery and he's complaining. by the way, his alleged wife apparently plagiarizes too. I swear that's a traceover or pencil filter of official artwork... shouldn't be all righteous over it.
Nice figure studies. I just think you need to be more accurate with the big proportions. Pay close attention to the size of the legs and arms. Always compare the two. The box drawings done in pencil and pen are my favorite :) Keep it up!
His traps are way too high to his head. That is the most annoying thing about the model. For his legs, I'd say they're too big. Pencil-leg him because you don't see legs that big on wrestlers really.
Those are looking good, guass you do that in pencil and scan it in or is it all in a paint program? Btw any good tuts for doing drawings/concept arts like these in photoshop7?? I would realy like to learn to do stuff like this in photoshop
9 hours of art classes in a row at my community college... wait... just kidding, 9 hours of art is like 9 days of stabbing your self in the eyes with dull pencils while listening to Bono being his douchey self.
https://youtu.be/pKmSdY56VtY?t=2m35s I've played with the Grease Pencil a few time and while it can get finnicky, it holds great potential. This short film just confirms every optimism I had for the tool overall. Man..when 2.8 will be out... [mod edit: changed shitty title to informative title]
