mojo: but the term normal map is actually descriptive to what a normal map does, and they have, in fact, made something of a difference about how a game looks. they might have been hyped up a lot, but it is at least a real technology. MEGATEXTURE on the other hand is totally awesome and totally unstoppable! -

QFT totally made me feel all warm and giddy inside It was an amazing movie, saw it in IMAX 3d, and though the 3d was not very impressive (like everyone said) the IMAX part was totally worth it. much better than i expected... and my expectations were pretty high. -

Yeah.... I also tend to sign up with a forum as a new user just to blast a cryptic rant to total strangers when I'm having a bad day. Btw. that rant from what I remember of it worked pretty well as rap lyrics. I read it while playing some RunDMC track and it totally elevated the post. -

Hey, there, Great Job so far! Though I totally agree with what's been said about the forehead. And I things her nose "wings" are a bit wider as fasr as I can see.But one the whole body shot it's totally unnoticable. Really looking forward to seeing this finished.) -

But its totally awesome, so who cares :p Maybe you could figure out how to move the mesh/sprite based on the camera position? As long as your meshes aren't unique, you should be fine... Edit: WOW way to totally ignore my post Jordan :P -

Totally yeah, I do understand that going for the best open source option makes total sense. My feedback is not so much about which tracker to use or not - I am really just trying to point out the issues I am running into so that you guys are aware of it :) -

Aw hell, I'm so slow in seeing this. Also, I totally have! Got some great crits on it, too. Stuff I've been totally trying to fix on my new project. And omg tonight's going to be awesome. I just want to stare at their concept art like a creep. -

thanks for the crits guys :) I used maya/ mental ray / Zbrush for the whole project. Yeah I totally agree -- I need to make a map to help the SSS effect. I am excited about my last piece as well -- this is totally helping me to develop my skills. -

If you get the nw9440, get the cheapest version, which comes with a single 1 gb stick. Either get a 2nd 1 gb stick if you want 2 total, or get 2x2 for a 4 gb total off newegg. Dang, now it's only 2k for the nw9440. Such a great buy. -

nono. This is totally ludo. First chap had it right. I totally plan to finish him. I just had more free time this weekend than I have for a very long time so i amde something for fun. Dunno when I will get back to him.
