for the moment yeah, they're just renaming the current version but Tomas Pettersson is going over with Sculptris to continue development as well as work on new ZB feature's. found out about this on wednesday but wasn't allowed to say anything :( -edit- oh and it's still free :) :)
Gauss, its not nonsensical. Its a texture and it is mega, I fail to see how you miss the logic. The future plan is to make some optimazations so it can be renamed a TURBOMEGATEXTURE but these optimations may come in two stages to enable it to be eventually called a HYPERTURBOMEGATEXTURE.
If you want to rename this to Thane's dumb questions or "beginner questions" thread, go ahead :) Heres another, sorry. What maps should i work with or is there a guide to choosing which maps to enable for specific engines? What is the "roughness" map called in Quixel?
I've renamed your subject line, from "My help to this community" because the new subject is more descriptive, which helps people understand the post. Also I moved this from General Discussion to Technical Talk where tools are usually discussed.
I haven't tried it. But I renamed your thread title, hope you don't mind. "Any one tried out that new Yoga Book?" looked quite a bit like spam. I have a Lenovo laptop, great build quality.
Find this file …\bin\assemblies\Autodesk.Max.StateSets.dll (example for path – C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2015\bin\assemblies\Autodesk.Max.StateSets.dll) and Rename it Autodesk.Max.StateSets.dll.back p.s. before that you have to enable to view the hidden files and file extension" This worked for me
Thank you guys for sharing, I just wanted to point out this link for me opens through my explorer and I had to right click save as and rename the content to get It working, just a heads up. Thanks again for being generous.
If Max is unwelding your UVs, you might want to rename the thread to draw more attention to it from people who have experience using Max. Otherwise the baking process should have only taken a few minutes from the start of the thread.
Yeah, "Hypershade" is just about the stupidest name for a material editor I've ever heard of. So easy to miss if you don't know what you're looking for. Why don't they rename various commands to match, like call Smooth "Supermesh" or something?
Oh, bugger! I'm not sure how I went about installing it, but I'm pretty sure I didn't rename anything. I just added the guruware version. Now there's two options for importing objs - the standard max one and the guruware importer.
