@Garage Wow, I completely forgot that rifle even existed! Forgive my ignorance, it seems my memory failed me once again. A question though, wouldn't the DSR-1 be the .300/.308 version? I think there is a .50 caliber variant called the DSR-50, however, I don't remember the exact differences in design. -

The facetopology looks bad man to be honest. I can see you made the face out of a box, because now it just looks like a box in a shape and few circles around the eyes and mouth. The latest item I have been working on over the last couple of weeks has been an L129A1 "Sharpshooter" Rifle, Complete with Folding Grip & Trijicon ACOG 6X48 TA648-308. Modeled in 3DS Max, Textured in Substance Painter. Textures are still somewhat WIP, but I think I'm getting there, Any pointers welcome as usual! -

yeah it gives it a really low rail profile keeping the sights closer to the line with the barrel. its probably an inch higher than the original sights nothing to crazy. Im going out to zero it next week and do the final modifications to it. over all probably 800 put into it with the rails and accessories not too much if… -

Thanks for the tips. So what about say the pillars, would they need to be made to the grid? Say the room length for example, should it be a set number like 1024 units long, or can it really be anything up to that as long as it is by the power of 2? I mean, would it be wrong to make the whole scene something like 800 units… -

Velveteen Rabbit - new character
Well, I'm new here. This is a character I'm working on; sort of a dark take on the fairytale. 838 polys, and has 1024x diffuse and normal maps. Critique is very helpful - especially if someone knows a way to make lowpoly hands that don't look like bricks! And here is a quick render showing what he might look like in-game.
