I agree with adam on the post production, you are selling yourself with images in a portfolio it needs to be the best of the best a final 'rendered' peice if you will. You can show textures/wires/etc as well but the beauty pass is what you wanting to sell. Just my 2 cents..
I think one thing that would help your image is a little more emphasis on the values. You can create more distance this way. So things in the foreground should have more value than the background. my 2 cents. Keep up the good work.
Very clean and accurate stuff as always. =) My only very minor crit would be about her bottom... Looks too soft, too easily squashed by the pants. Black girls usually have rounder and more muscular bottom that the others. Just my two cents =)
I suppose if it were me, I'm always a fan of using mirrored UV's when possible. I would keep the repeating textures on walls for example and break them up using decals in UDK (akin to your alpha plane for grunge). Just my two cents :)
These are my 2 cents, but I'm a beginner, so my opinion is worthless. ^This, and Caroline seems a bit "plastic" and ugly, although I cannot say why. The knight and the girl are pretty nice! Keep up the good work, and I'd suggest to add more stuff to your portfolio.
this will bake so much better if you just make these parts separate pieces. and you could also Ctrl+Shift-Click to Isolate them in Zbrush. just my 2 cents. EDIT: adding bevels will probably slow you down a bit, and make a mess as well.
Very beautiful and solid work Swizzle. I think you can bulk a bit the legs, from the knees to the bottom (even already baked). And play more with the color scheme for the uniform. here goes a reference that might be useful; http://tinyurl.com/7ts4bbz That's my 2 cents!
hahaha yeah, it kinda does me too. The cheeks are pretty round, if thats what you were going for you pulled it off very well. I think if you flattened out the cheeks it would really sharpen him up. Just my 2 cents.
Here's my 2 cents; keep up working on those humans and study alot more anatomy. I cant't see any use in making all those random sculpts as they all lack the same thing, the feel of muscle/flesh underneath the skin. Good luck
[ QUOTE ] He's well rested because he didn't exert himself on the last one. OH SNAP. [/ QUOTE ] I'M WORKING ON IT!!! And I've tried sharing my 2 cents to keep this boat floating since it started over a year ago. p.s. thanks for the comment MoP!
