And if the cores go on 64 degrees(celsius) or so and it stays stable at that in full load then you might want to check the temp alarm in bios and raise the threshold to 70 so you don't get the sound anymore… -

Well yeah Maya does that for curves - but it explodes if you do, say, an extrude on a whole object to give it thickness, then want to punch a hole in the surface by deleting a polygon out of the base shape. I don't necessarily 'hate' it. There are certainly games that manage to pull it off far better than others. HL2 springs to mind. There is probably a way to use one image for lighting and have another show up in the BG, but I wouldn't use a foliage one anyway, just wanted to check. Depending on if there's something behind the camera, you might want to block that part of the scene in/off if it won't be seen at any point, so there's less light coming…
