That's really good advice thank you. i set up all the bloom affects in compositing tab, but i will take that advice and disable it for now so i can get solid lighting in place first. I'll experiment with the colour of the lighting so it seems it could be coming from the neon lights. thank you <3 -

Can you give a bit more info on this map data parsing? I've done a fair amount of work with mapping and satellite data so might be able to point you in a useful direction (generally speaking the geospatial people have already solved your problem, it's just not obvious where to find the code or tools) -

Another bug I've encountered is that smart material groups seem to be set have their groups set to "Normal" blend mode rather than "pass through", which is not allowing the baked maps etc to come through. -

tim, frostbite is one of the vanilla ONS maps, i only have the vanilla OOTB maps atm, no bonus packs etc. frostbite is like 1 node and the two cores and is set on a frozen over lake. -

Thanks guys. I've got the idea. Still I have to say it's a hell of a pain. Even more so than Designer usually is . I couldn't recollect where things are just next day. And whatever I try to do in Painter the textures are always blurrier than same thing in Designer where if you code pixel processors and Fx-maps to do all… -

Your target image doesn't have light from behind, it's coming from the left. Also, make sure to light the cove backdrop, to get that even/bright tone. -

Check out http://www.offloadstudios.com/core/. They have some of the best print quality out there from what I've seen. It does come with a pretty steep price though. -
