It;s a good start, though I'd dig out a ton of anatomy books from the Library and have a go at those arm joins to try get something more believable for the joints, right now it looks like they're rigid below the elbow. Also something for the feet - are the feed amputated, or is he walking on some kind of claw/spine thing?… -

Rofl, my situation was the same, but i definately wasnt blind to the issue, I was given a choice of finishing my degree for the brilliant peice of paper, or going my own route and actually making myself a reel, i went with the latter. Still got my shitty piece of paper too! Albeit it isnt as pretty haha. But alas, people… -

yeah and also I wasn't saying make it like TF, I was saying they nailed a style but I dont feel like this has quite yet. As has been mentioned youve textured/normal mapped it with realistic bulging muscles, but the arms sort of tube out from the body in contradiction to the carefully defined body musculature. The jaw is a fairly accurate reprsentation of Kidby's, though the corners at the back should be softened out quite a bit- that should be loose skin rather than heavily defined bone. There should be some bounce light coming from where light is hitting the floor. It would define the nearest corner/side of the bed a bit more and make it pop. Another thing that jumps out at me is the black line around the window, kill it now! The glow should be obscuring the window slightly so the line seems out of place.… -

ok I was going to say a similiar bunch of stuff to marine.. instead I will offer this; Good work, your definately improving! The characters poses feel a little stiff and perhaps unatural. You might also try to work in more motion <- catching the charcter at the perfect motion to suggest who they are, and or what they do.…
