Hey Arsh, This is cool. But could you fix the link to that awsome head script creator? It's not working at the moment. and I would love to see how you get those crisp edges. Im guesing it's the pinch tool? Then a pass with the smooth tool?
Hi all, if there are any 3D artists that are very good at sculpting I would love your help! I will pay also! Im currently doing this mini project with a underground creator and I need someone to help me sculpt these accessories! If interested please DM me and well go from there. <3
Hey polycounters, I found this video not too long ago when I was searching for a method of unwrapping piping. Not sure if the creator is a user on the forums but he has a super legit secret Ken-combo way of unwrapping piping and I figured I'd spread some knowledge. http://youtu.be/dahgVetfUZg
Second Life? I'm not familiar with the workflow. Does it use an editor program? Check the help files. Do they have a wiki for content creators? Because it is an online game, you need to use smaller textures. No one wants to wait for a 8k texture to download!
Tone Control is really good. It was done by one of the creators of Gone Home. It's discontinued now since The Fullbright Company is working on a new project, but the series is good all the same. Not specifically 3D related, but Idle Thumbs and Gamers With Jobs are very good as well.
Couldn't agree more. It makes me sad to think if Konami made more Metal Gear games without Kojima. I sure hope they don't, but if there's $$$ to be made.. But really, I can't think of another game series that is tied so closely to it's creator.
This is a good reason to hold on to your original PSD files. If you have the actual textures in their non-flattened state, you can prove to anyone that you are the original creator. Anyone else will only have the files they extracted. That's the best you can do.
The creators of the engine I'm using decided to make a scripting interface through vb.net, or c#.net. Python looks great but I still think VB is easier. I learned enough vb.net to handle most game functionality in less then 2 weeks.
Looks like you will have the whole cast of Castlevania modeled soon. I bought that castlevania for ps2 and it was just devil may cry with a skin pack, what a let down. I bought it solely because it said from the creators of Symphony of the Night.
Incredible!!!! Bravo. World machine really is magical, never could get to grips with it myself, and instead purchased world creator. (although their erosion isn't nearly as good...although I haven't messed around with it for almost a year, maybe time to dive back in).
