More update on White tiger Model. I blocked out the hair and im debating on hair cards or polish this current hair and retopo it. next step is to polish her cloth and the little details it has.
Halo 4 is great. The visuals are a big step forward from Reach, especially the lighting and terrain. The most fun I've had so far in it is playing CTF on Ragnarok. Flood is also a lot of fun.
another slightly quicker way i just found is to just open up your mesh in mudbox and load a gradient map as stencil in and project that. saves you a couple of steps and maby a minute or two.
Basic combat input set up, input buffer working properly, now I have to take a step back and rethink my animation / combat system Large gif : http://imgur.com/2kOVLV4
Is there any other file formats that just transfer materials and texture assignments? If FBX can not do it all in one fell swoop, maybe I can import my model in two separate steps.
here is the final product i guess....im not completly satisfied but its a step forward....anyway i want to come up with more ideas...let me know what you guys think :)
Today I took a couple steps back, and redid some of the pieces to get the scale closer to the source. Next ill be moving onto some of the higher up restaurant style areas above the beach.
The steps are correct. Although it looks like you are using a bad texture format. It is best to bake to a 16 bits-per-channel format. Then convert it down to 8 bpc when you're done processing it.
just out of curiosity the armor for the first image(the frog looking creature with armor o his head and body) was it done in zbrush and can you very briefly mention the steps that you have taken
If you're on Maya/Max 2014 you can use the 'send to' feature to cut out the export/import step. It will preserve the surface shading but as mentioned above the normals in max will be explicit and the smoothing groups blank.
