this looks great, his proportions are excellent. some of the crease work in the boots looks a bit mushy but other than that it looks good. You could also do with posting some larger screen shots, it's hard to see all the detail at that size
whats your display resolution? you maybe need to adjust the "click box size" in settings preferences > selection. if i´m not completely wrong it´s measured in pixels so the lower your resolution and the smaller the objects are on screen the lower it should be.
Games that start with the iphone as it's target platform is similar to a dice roll. Games that start on XBLA, Steam/ PSN, then ported over had a little more success. all n' all the game has to be fun, be playable comfortably with a touch screen, and polished.
Not sure how to do this. This idea is pretty good, although it did not work. Attempted it without the invisible texture. The particle system vanishes even when the particle is still on screen. ( when moving away from the particle spawner dropped by the player pawn)
For whatever reason I thought this weapon would be in a 3rd person shooter. If it was than it should be low. 3rd person games need to be lower because the engine is also rendering a character on screen. If It is going to be for an FPS than 10k is fine. - D. Carmine
Thanks guys!, yeah Multitud3 did an awesome job on that loading screen. Just submitted my other collab with Sayanora. Legion commanders Eye of Castigation. Check it out as well, thanks. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=239838875&searchtext=
Your normalmap dosn't seem to work very well with your smoothing groups. Can't you show us screens from you main program, i guess it's max? Show us the wires of the model and your flats and it will be easier to help :)
You're right ! I'll pay more attention to it next time ! I do not want to complain but my computer screen is old and contrasts are bad ..:/ But I plan to buy a new pc and it will be more comfortable to work :D Thank you for the advice !!
Thanks guys! A couple of festivals have contacted me and encouraged us to submit the film, so hopefully it will make its way to the big screen eventually. I haven't heard from the school if it's been accepted anywhere but we're crossing fingers.
well i got it to work, but only with a dummy effect. need to wait till the attack animations are done so i can tweak it the way i want it to look like. will post screens and maby vids when i get it to shine^^
