How to remove interior edges of a selected polygon group while keeping borders intact in 3dsMax? I can do it by a single command in Modo but couldn't find any tools or scripts that does it in 3dsMax.
I am switching to Maya due to a job requirement. I need some help figuring how to move on a custom axis in Maya with precise numerical values.(if not possible are there any scripts to do this ? ) I used to do this quite a lot in Blender like in this picture.
Brings up an excellent point. At my work all computers have Javascript and fancy web page scripts disabled for security reasons. So you've made some kind of neat scrolling portfolio and flying images I see this,
I did try a few from CC earlier in the day. Turned into a mix of missing features/bugs. I recently found one that ended up working nicely. http://www.creativecrash.com/maya/script/jbunity-tools Thanks for the reply.
Yeah, Max Projection does not transfer the normals. Doesn't seem to be anything similar by default on Max, so I'm using a script : "SlideNormalThief". POM is working now after all the feedback. Thank you so much everybody for the help.
Ah now i get what he wants. He only wants the polys facing him and only the ones which are not occluded. Illusion Catalyst got that as far as i remember... Edit: There is a script on SyncViews side which does that.
Yea i know you can change the red cage in edit mode, but im looking for a script to adjust overlapping faces between fingers etc. Two bake cages can work, but then there are still areas that dont quite work.
Just playing around with nDo right now, but I have one question for you that I can't seem to find the answer to. If you close the nDo script window, how do you reopen it to rework your norrmal map?
You'l want to make sure the audio source is on a game object that contains a script using this method https://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/Object.DontDestroyOnLoad.html you might still have hiccups during the load, but that should preserve the audio source between scenes
