All that stuff is fluff to me, all I care about is performance improvement. What's wrong with the quad chamfer plugin that shipping it with Max 2015 fixes? Does the creator of the Quad Chamfer plugin get any money from this?
U'r right, images r shown somewhat differently than what their creator originally intended them to but this is far too drastic and has started only a few weeks ago. No clue what could be cause it so far
Hey Jacque! yes, long time, well, we are preparing a playtest for XBLIG next week, so whoever have a creators club acc could play it, and sooner after that a beta for PC. thanks for your kind words!
to be brutally honest; not a single illustrator Japanese or otherwise, I know, uses photoshop for anything other than image manipulation. Everyone uses illustrator cs3. theres a lot of wind in this thread for software that even the creators deny exist.
On the left is the base mesh exported from Character Creator v1.51 and on the right is the same mesh modified and Zremeshed. I decided to change it to suit my work style as it will make it easier for me and I'll be rigging it in Maya once it's finished.
Hi Kyle, Is it possible for Relic to accept packages directly from creators instead of having it go through the steam upload process? The number of submissions is not that big so maybe you can get the problematic packages directly for the competition?
Maybe that was the intention of the creators, keep many secrets which will make us keep talking about the show for some time. Or maybe they will release more DVDs with all kinds of explanations, a great way to keep the money rolling :poly124:
The contract has to specify that it's work for hire, otherwise the creator retains the rights (in the US at least). "there must be a written agreement between the parties specifying that the work is a work made for hire" I'm not sure what that means for copyright infringement lawsuits
Hey Renderhjs what would I need to do to use this bitmap font creator on a commercial project? Im a little confused because on the actual shoebox homepage it says the tools are "free" but on this polycount thread it says "non-commercial"?
Thanks for all the replies guys, I heard there was an actual 'Blizzard Particle Creator' but I can't imagine it would be too hard to replicate sprite effects in Maya...will look into it and see what I can come up with :D
