small update crits ? suggestions ? it would be cool to have the 3d map (and the monitors) animated, but iam not yet sure how to realize that since i havent done anything related to animation yet

I love Kotaku. They do a lot of posts related to art posted on this website, albeit sometimes random. Although the fine art thing they do, like stated in the article, is a bit more frequent :)

Looks like you're not using a cage and/or your HP and LP aren't perfectly lined up in virtual space. Cages solve most baking issues that aren't related to inherent bad topology.

hmm should work pretty much out of the box. do you have massive transforms on the object(s)? where is the pivot of your mesh you want to scatter in relation to the mesh itself?
i'm sure this will be closed in a minute. question, certainly not pointing the finger-- why the obsession with not diggin up old threads? is this related to the not-cluttering-up-my-inbox-with-emails at work obsession in some way?
Ah, got it! I thought static lighting level scale literally... just scaled up the level in relation to my lights, meaning higher level of quality but also smaller shadows, etc
