@pumbaa It depends on how conducive the high poly base mesh is to turning into a lowpoly. For the mouse or the chair for example It was a simple matter of reducing the high res base mesh, but for the keyboard or the printer I started more or less from scratch. I tried seeing if that was the issue and the results were the same. Did some more testing and I think the issue might be with the hard edges of my fbx. What I like to do is have a rough layout like yourself but also do a top and front view of the room and draw in simple boxes and circles… -

Maybe for the time being instead of seperating your work on there, you should just group it all under one section, possibly with larger thumbnails all next to each other. Also the red and blue at the top really distracts away from the artwork, maybe you should desaturate those a bit and then boost the colour on your work,… -

Create a targeted camera and change its property to be orthographic. This way it'll always render from the same spot, will be orthographic (so your planes near the edges don't skew with perspective) and will use whatever alpha settings you already have in your material(s). Yeah, BSP has some advantages, such as any BSP automatic has a bounding box that matches the shape of it, so its good for blocking out a level, as you can run through it and jump around, especially useful to figure out the heights of things (if you need people to be able to jump and reach areas).
