ya only downside for me with that app and script is it trashes your 2nd UV set, but I can get around that by doing it to a copy of my object, and using transfer attributes to move uvs from 1 mesh to a other.
I also agree with HP, especially if you portfolio doesn't always include art but maybe tech/scripts which are not in the right place under the "pimping and preview". (I guess a portfolio thread is not only about art, isn't it ?)
Is this an modeling project? Or more focused on rapid prototyping and game play? Or is this a programming/scripting assignment? I don't quite understand if you are asking us for ideas, or you're going to post your/your teams ideas here for feedback?
If you just want to combine several textures into one, for example when you baked objects on the same uv map separately and want to combine them, then Photoshop has an automatic solution for it. File>Scripts>Load Files into stack
@ Bartalon I was really hoping I could do this without having to learn a scripting language. But I agree, that would help. @Throttlekitty I know to delete history but the panel UI thing is new, I'll give it a try.
Thanks guys. N4UJ, I can't script, animate or VFX, so it is probaby going to stay a static prop. Yep! I have to work on the presentation, it is now a simple set-up, but I'm going to improve it on the final shots.
Use the Working Pivot mode! Also, the Sub-obj Pivot script from FunkyBunnies helps a lot :) http://www.funkybunnies3d.com/tools.php I'd recommend you assigning a keyboard key for "Affect Pivot Only Mode Toggle" too.
But then aggain it will calculate quite a while. I should make a little clearer that this is not only abbout grass, moeover what the thread title says "evenly scattering". Know about any scripts that like, take a input for the density ot such?
Without scripting a bit it will be hard I think. A simple way would be to teleport the player to the last remembered door used when loading the map. I don't know if you can create this memory variable with only kismet.
That's amazingly simple! Brilliant! The pivot thing was an addition. I'm still learning at max script so far I think I can get things to work but not necessarily in the fastest or most efficient way. Thanks for the help guys :)
