Compared to the Photoshop layer setup, base = bottom layer, blend = top layer that has Color Dodge set as the blend mode. Some of the Blend functions in Unreal have different input orders for Base/Blend, so it's possible that you just put the wrong textures in the wrong input. The only issue I can see with the material…
@Blaizer Well yeah, that's simply because you're on 4k. The '60 fps cap' is mostly towards for console players, as their resolution mentioned in the video is 1440p-1800p max, and possibly not max/ultra settings
Statistics for the player Metrics for the devs. Depends what you need it for. If you`re lookin into how to do something, then checking out how to find metrics would be more useful i think.
So for this week, I changed the size of the bed and the desk to fit the player and make it feel more realistic. I also remade the walls so that the windows have holes where a plane will be the glass.
really the only thing giving away that this is in a video game is the player/camera movement absolutely killer work ! probably the best unreal engine 4 "thing" i have seen so far!
Many thanks! Oh. Potter? I'll check it. Big variants are the same actually. I mean, player can choose, if he wants this long cloak or not, and change this option ingame. Something like that )
[SKETCHFAB]4f7626029e12424c8c951ede66f49e1a[/SKETCHFAB] My Second character, which is Gaige the Mechromancer, but instead of using the defualt head that players are given in-game, I have opted for the "keepin' it real" head customisation option.
It may be a little bit slow when you get to splines , and if the idea is to be a ward placement you should definitely speed it up so the player can see the animation when its placed :)
Are there two colors for a reason? Or are they just like that because you like the colors? Because if so - maybe it's a cool idea to start the game with a hue slider so every player can kind of customize it.
This is very cool, love the way player moves through terrain, with multiple height levels and all. Screenshots do not do environment justice though, maybe you should try capturing panoramas.
