Vintage Vi and Steampunk fiddle Renegade Vi Earth Vi Alright, so here are some of the things Im planning, some skins for Vi, and a skin for Fiddle and Jinx, I'll be posting more updates soon. I'll be modeling my own Vi for the this category and use it for the animation category. :) Started modeling and will upload updates…
First, I will answer your questions; after graduating you should put any type of experience that is related to your field or closely related, even something simple like you tutored people in Maya or Max. Student projects are OK, employers expect you to work on some student projects while you're in school and it's still…
Thanks Mistry10, Had a bit of a slack day today, so I didn't get much done. I blame Dragon Age and my lack of self control for that ;) I'm hoping to get onto doing some textures soon. Still blocking in a few proxy objects and stuff right now though. Updates soon :D
Black CoD Black ops 3 soon! Did this for the carl jr's CoD commercial (and another one to come soon I think). 100% subD for vfx pipeline which was pretty different for me since I'm used to making game assets. *arms from the outer disk out by Hailey Oneil.* *high rez*
Since one slide says "coming soon" I guess it will out by April. Can't wait for it too, I hope we see a UE4 integration soon after the initial release! I mean with the source fully available it should just be a matter of time. Great move from AMD to make it all freely available!
Thanks for the reply guys. I tried lowering the texel density and the scale parameters but with no avail. The strange thing is that the default DDO chrome material looks fine. As soon as I select a different material it starts tiling like crazy. EDIT: As soon as I switch the "CryEngine" setting to "Ue4" everything works…
I would imagine even browser based games will be powerful enough to support normal mapped 3D models soon. The only option is to build your skill-set to be current with the technology. I doubt the need for low poly will disappear entirely anytime soon though. Most 3D iphone games I've seen are low poly.
Update! Thanks for the critiques and comments everyone. Keeps me goin'. :) About the legs: I'll confess I used reference of a short stocky bodybuilder, so thus why he seems a little...off. Still working on the texture for the body. I'm thinking of just finishing and posing him pretty soon. Hair will be up soon!
[ QUOTE ] Nice work given the PS2 constrains. Luckyly those constrains will be a thing of the past soon (hopefully) [/ QUOTE ] nah! The big co.s will continue to develop for current hardware for some time yet. I know that EA feel that they dropped support for the PS1 too soon. Plus let's not forget the handheld market.…
if anyone wants to comment on the model then feel free to pm me, i check the boards most days (though i dont post much). i'm about to get back into the model very soon, but that's not to say it will be finsihed any time soon . i don't know about it being "the best model i've seen for UT2004" though...
