I'm no pro by any stretch, but one thing that stands out to me is your material definition, everything looks very soft, and I think it's coming from an excessive use of soft brushes. Try some material studies using soft and hard brushes. I think your design and composition's are good, i like them. :) -

By soft-focus I meant it's a very soft-looking kind of web, where you can't see most of the strands, kind of like nylon stockings. Often spider webs are done with alpha-test (on/off only) since it's cheaper to render and has no sorting problems. But you can't get that soft look in your reference photos. -

+1 To add to this lineup, a variant on Pior's sofa comment, sometimes I would love nothing more than to be arting whilst looking like im jacked into the Nebuchadnezzar. Monitor up high and angled perfectly toward me as im arting - though it wont work with a cintique.....add a pressurised room and i could probably get deep… -

Here’s an update on the scene. Changed the look of the bullet proof/castle walls. Got some feedback on it, so I removed the shatter look of it, and made it so that it would come off the window/door frames if breached. Changed the wooden wall breached, added more damage to it. I want a cintiq badly but despite having cash just sitting there i still can't justify the outlay. i hit ebay and got a motion computing ls800 for under £200 that i run artrage on for sketching on the sofa, its pressure sensitive and while the screen resolution is low and its no wacom it feels pretty good and i can take it… -

yeah, uh- I think you should watch the whole vid. It's pretty cool. I'd happily pay, oh, $200 for it. Maybe more. To me, noodling around with that would be about the same as noodling around with my guitar. I can see myself sitting on the sofa, making funky noises, not worrying so much about my kids making grease marks on… -

2, 46ich £100, rear-views and a 56ich, £800 rear-view. Occasionally i set them up for multi-monitor mayhem and the picture quality is pretty decent. Not as a good as a plasma or Led/Lcd but it does the job brilliantly running on Hdmi's. Just saying if your looking for a lower budget tv and then invest in something else,… -

hmmm crunching right now at work,freelancers fubared up a project and theres 3 of us here working most of the day/night to rectify the probs.....but its not all bad. One of the managers is still here and he's bought us pizza and beer and theres sofa beds here so if I can't be arsed to go home ill just crash here as well.… -

Any examples? Answer is mostly yes. is it just a generic tiling normal map? the underlying hard/soft edges could be anything - up to your visual discretion. is it a baked unique normal map? @tynew Here my progress so far. I redone my sofa add more detail. I just need to add more stuff near the flags, finish the tv and the jug box. After that I will add few more detail put ball the pool table. So far so good. @alytlebird I am curious about the result of you light when you will redone.
