If it's Max 2012, abandon all hope. It's very flimsy. If you want to use X-Shader in mint conditions, use 2011. The older version of X-shader created for Maya (pre 2.0) should still work. -

ok... wasn't sure exactly how it was getting implimented. It makes sense that it would replace X, but I didn't know if XGL was just a name because it would be build ON X, or if it was replacing X. -

This is the High poly mesh not a normal bake down this is why I said: this 900,000+ triangle model, I was able to flip her stomach normals back but the rest this huge line that goes all the way around her is still there... and I was trying to find a good solution to flip actual model normals not bakes.
