I'm on a older mac, so I can't contribute on performance, but in terms of usability I like the OS better. Takes a little getting used to at first cause your probably accustomed to windows, but once you get the hang of it it's just easier. My 2 cents.
hello, fellow animators and anim-curious polycounters! it's been, uhh, 8 years since i last posted and figured it's about time i get back into the community here. currently i'm working on Paladins: Champions of the Realm at Hi-Rez Studios as an animator. to be honest i'm kinda bad at forums but, like a cartoon wolf…
Id say have only one page, so not a personal and professional one, just The one. I prefer it for the reason that it is just so much more easy to look at all your best work fast if you use only one. If a piece is professional work just keep a watermark from the project in the picture so that you can see it is a professional…
My 2 cents: Specialize in things that you are passionate about, don't pick them based on perceived competition, and don't commit to a speciality before you're in the industry. IMO its better to go into a junior role with a broad skill base and find your thing. Good hunting!
The lighting might be better, but the post-processing is really overpowering to me right now. Before it felt like a stylized-but-natural lighting, now it feels very extreme and not nearly as pleasant to look at. Just my two cents! I'm a big fan of the colors present in the last version.
The pillar's texture looks weird to me. Seeing a wood wainscot on concrete is just weird. I think the face of the pillar should be less noisy and look more like smooth gyp board or stucco, and the bottom should be a ceramic tile base. Just my two cents.
it would be useful if you clould post unsubdivided wireframe. But here's my 5 cents. you need to add some extra geometry/loops and try to distribute them soemwehat evenly so subd can make the best average estimation and round the mesh as you want.
Always when reading about 3d scans technology and its influence to anatomy sculpting in zbrush I wonder about "photo vs painting" disputes in XIX century..How many of painters think that photo-technology will supersede classical painting. Just my two cents.
adam you cliffs really could use a blend, I suggest adding a lerp with a vector constand in the red and blue channels. Keep 2 textures and blend them , have 1 be moss/dirt with a bump offset on it and blend it easier that way. Just my 2 cents
In Canada we are use to insert a quarter or even a dollar for carts, and using your own bags as I'm not paying $0.05 cents for each bag. I do like European foods so that fits in perfectly for me  We have kindereggs everywhere, they're boring.
