I suck completly at concepting and team up with some concept artist would be a great step forward but I vote "no" in the end... as Bobo said, this always looked like a mano a mano challenge.
I remember that. I tried it back when it was free but it was still alpha or beta or something, not very stable and lacked fundamental features like undo steps. It has to compete with GIMP in any case.
Thanks for the tips but the goal is, just remove the chamfered edge without changing the position or orientation of the other edges/verts. I mean, the manual steps to do this are pretty simple - can't imagine there is no script for it...
definately this country is in need of copyright and patent reform, you know there's something wrong with the system when there are companies whose sole existance is to sue people who accidently step on their library of copyrights and/or patents.
