Dither is the mode that you should use. It will look grainy in the viewport, however it will be much smoother when you export a rendered, multisampled image. Export a very large image, like 3840x2160 and resize to 1080 to further improve dither quality.
Even then, painting a texture from scratch instead of being "image manipulators". It looks awesome when people paint textures from scratch, even toon-ish textures look awesome. I am guilty of image manipulation :P.
Does your projection cage encompass the high poly completely? Are the normals reversed on the highpoly? Is the image you posted what you saw (or saved) in the Render to Texture Render, or is the image what is being saved automatically at your specified location?
I just made it custom, just pick the image from their site and add your personal link. <a href="https://be.linkedin.com/in/jerryverhoeven" target="_blank"><img src="images/linkedin/linkedin.png" /> </a> I joined the PC group btw :)
Wow i cant believe it was that easy. Thanks a lot Stradigos, and if any one wants to know, in cs4 premiere you click import pick the first image in the set and only that image and click numbered slides at the bottom. Thanks again
Googled. Do you see any Shell logos sticking out? They don't! But they do on your normal map.. EDIT: sorry, the image I googled was HUGE.. cropped it and reuploaded it on imagehost. hope the owner of the image doesn't get angry.
you're crazy to render out compressed video from any renderer. always do it as image sequence so you have original files. hard disk space is so cheap so it shouldn't be an issue to store image sequences.
can you show me a screenshot of the uv editor with the image drop down menu expanded and the image range info box clicked please ?! :) i still think that you have some quirky setting and its not a hardware issue
looking at the gizmos on the boots reminded me of these shoes my friend bought. http://static.explore64.com/images/items/large/TNF/TNF1377/EDBFG.jpg The image on the right shows the little crank on the back that tightens the "laces" so there is no tying or whatevs.
i am living through you likeness study guys/gals where i can help and attempting to match / learn, how to do this as well by helping you all. So adding the eyebrows might help and matching his actual eye colors might also, otherwise i'd make everything grey/gray scale and make it easier on the eyes and to see the light…
