Keep in mind that alot of 3d apps arent that well multithreaded for use with processors like the i7 (3dsmax). You will get a shit ton of power in the rendering but in the viewport mosty things will be restricted to one thread.... I fairly often get system grinding lag on 13% processor usage. Thank you for your reply. I searched for the entire internet and they all mentioned the old cloth plugin, and you are the only one talk about the mCloth. I guess I have my road lit up now. Also, I come across to the nVidia web site and they made this new physX/APEX clothing simulation, it worth a look too. -

Hey Mark, Thanks for the quick response. I already use those tools. :) Here's a picture of what I'm talking about. Imagine the white dots are the positions of verts changing in UV space. I know that I could use soft selection or convert to poly but I always wonder why I can't just modify the uv's like this in max.
