Hey again, Made a sculpt of a crow head which was really fun. Too bad it's not going to be this big, though it was good practice! :D It'll be the cap for the rejuvenation potions. I'll probably edit this post later tonight with the whole potion... - Andr
Hi Dan, it's mainly to practice hand painted texturing but I think it could possibly work as some sort of slanted wooden roof perhaps? Thanks for the feedback guys! Here's where I'm at with it now. Still needs a bit more work.
Decided to join in on this one since I bailed on the last challenge. I chose the pumpkin guy but went ahead and practiced some base anatomy forms before getting into the actual concept. Here is what I have, all critique is appreciated!
Why do you think giving money's to big companies is different than giving money to small companies? You do realize that practically none of these kickstarters for video games ever ask for enough money to actually fund an entire production?
I think it's better he start out with paper. Since going digital you'll need a tablet unless you want to practice with a mouse*. *I used a mouse back in 2012. I drew a whole bunch of characters but it was so ghetto.
Disagree whole-heartedly with this. Technical skill, to me, is what needs to be taught in class. It's debilitating to try to pick up a 3d app or game engine with no prior knowledge, whereas practicing art and fine art is actually quite fun on your own.
I like the idea that there are candles and a tile floor in space. It's not very practical in terms of how we see space, but In the far future, they are going to want to take some of their home and life with them into space. Not everything is going to be a plastic/steel tech-fest.
Yes. But you'll basically have to replace the default model with yours. To do that, you have to unpack the game files, do the switcheroo, then boot up the game. BUT every time the game updates, you'll have to redo it. Sooo doable: yes - practical: no.

Check your fundamentals one more time -> skill/neck form ,relations ,high points and planes Be aware of this guy tutorials Its giving young artist wrong impression and teaching really bad practices -> copying without knowledge and understanding
