Thanks poopipe. Do you have any advice on how to start getting into shaders or some terminology? Does a shader need specific programming or is it done with nodes in programs like SD? Yeah, hopefully you will make as many of these talks available online for us non-going to GDC folks. Substance has been on my radar for a while, so seeing how lots of different folks are using it would better help dictate how or when or what all to use it for. Especially the PBR stuff. That's a good question to ask. We've talked about it yesterday and we're going to focus on our original vision - the tool should be much easier to use than existing solutions. Actually substance is what I'm using but the feature you're probably talking about just checks for matching mesh names of the high and low poly. So you still have break it into separate meshes, just don't have to actually explode them. Thanks for commenting though, good to know I'm not missing something obvious or doing…
