Yo guys, Here is some of my work that I currently have on my portfolio: http://felixfritzell.com/ I should've posted these before finishing them, but didn't get about it. Figured I would put them up anyway, and any feedback would still be great for future projects:) and I'll keep posting new stuff here aswell. Aand the…
Hi! There has obviously been a lot of questions regarding Blender lately and we tought it would be a good idea to collect everybodys thoughts and ideas and hear what kind of support you want in order to create the best possible work flow! So what would you like to see from Quixel in the future? Let us have it!
Thank you very much Zazu! I got used to the fact that here I do not get feedback and did not check the forum before publishing. You've shown me some places that would certainly improve the quality of my work. .Thank you also for going the extra mile with the overpaint, it means a lot. I will try to make use of your advice…
2/3 of the concept artists I have asked to reproduce from also turned out to be AD's. I'd sure hate to piss off a potential future boss... Besides even the guys who turned me down (that are professionals) always thanked me for asking instead of just ganking.
BTW. Charge less than some of these write-ups, because you 'own' the asset. They're just licensing it for this one use, but in the future you have the rights to license it again. It doesn't sound like they want the model, it just sounds like they want a shot of the model. Pretty big difference.
Just found out about this today. It's sad reading so many of these, and I hope this changes how things go in the future. I can't say that it isn't a problem here. But when it happens and it's reported, heads roll. I'll stop reading so many of these and look at the positive ones, now.
This sounds like you are working for an unpaid indie hobby project. Did you sign a NDA ? if not then Id personally show them under a disclosure note , they will not spread it so or so. Your future is more important and nobody really will care in the end, but thats just what I would do.
@SSquir33: Thanks! I've got a lot of useful feedback on this one, and I look forward to making a new one in the future to correct some of those mistakes. :) Also, puppet time! This is my first time making a stylized character. Feedback is appreciated, I haven't done much of this before! :D
Thanks for feedbacks! @gilesruscoe: yep, but in lowpoly model i use lot chamfer (in future) @hostillis: i print some wire screen later (midpoly and highpoly), but i repeat, this is my high-poly study work :) @Walrus: yes, this is the big error, i do not know how to fix this :/
great little program to get your sculpt started in then hit the GoZ button and finish it up in Zbrush... i have to say if this had subtools and layers and possibly a zphere like system in it for rigging / positioning your model i would never open Zbrush maybe in a future release :D
