@Ignacio_G Thanks for the great feedback! The plan is to have a cracked glass mat on the lights similar to the one in the concept. It's awesome you're going to Ringling! Be sure to make use of the endless supply of Gnmonon & Eat3D vids in the Library!!!
Never had a job in the industry and I'm a pretty awful artist, I've just grown to dislike the spiteful gaming community and their endless entitlement complex :P so I'm kind of okay with capitalism in gaming :P
heeey @_adamturnbull thanks so much for sharing these techniques. These are so helpful for animating my descent :) And here it is last version of my work https://vimeo.com/216550112

I would buy a place relatively inexpensive for permanent residence on the Ocean. Then, I'd surf everyday for the rest of my life. Then when out of season. Buy a world trip ticket and surf the world like the endless summer!
Looks like a room from a horror movie. I just imagine the lights starting to flicker while someones taking a shower and then an endless stream of roaches bursts out of the drains / water heater / through the walls and...I'll leave it at that.
Trust me there's a difference between illustrators and concept artist livestreaming: One is a hypnotic journey where you follow the birth of something incredible, and the other is a near-endless cycle of create-and-delete design drafts powered by sweat and tears. :|
If you're still looking for other things to add to the scene, the water in some of your reference images caught my eye. A stream or pond or some such could add some more interest to the scene and break up the endless grass.
best: Raiders of the Lost Ark for sure worst: Disaster Movie or any of those recent sacks of shit with movie in the title. there is no plot just endless stupid remade scenes that are not funny at all. makes me want to gank a bitch.
Overall, the industry is doing OK, in terms of size etc. Innovation and such might not be great, but endless games are made, and the big blockbusters make mountains of money. Unfortunately, there is a gigantic oversupply of people trying to get work making characters for games.
I'm looking for someone that can handle sound design for a mobile game I've developed. Very straight forward game and requirements. It's an endless runner game similar to Tom's Gold Run and Subway Surfers. Same sound requirements found in those games for references.
