The light reflecting off the table doesn't match with the render so its kind of floaty/disconcerting at the moment. I'd work on that a bit, and then also, I wouldn't expect so much light on the case directly beneath the metal on the camera. Just my quick 2 cents...
Bring up your resolution and hit the Project button under the Dynamesh menu. It should make it so you don't lose the detail. I'm new still relatively new to Zbrush, but just my 2 cents. At about 4 min in part 2 of this tutorial
Ok, I think I've got all of the points covered and I've changed the base colour from white to a light blue and turned down the AO multiply-layer from 100 to 90 per cent visibility, which should hopefully make it less contrasty
sorry to hear you didn't get the job. Good start with the textures. You can probably add some more subtle colour variation to the skin and the yellow could maybe go to a slightly darker gold. Just my 2 cents anyway. Looking good.
i like the front part ( the head ) the design is cool. one comment though..the legs dont seem to be plausible enough in the sense that they dont look like they can move. Wheres the machinery that makes it look like it can bend, etc? just my two cents
2 cents: I typically don't like large panels for common (for me) tasks, like hypergraph, hard/soft edge, etc in lieu of marking menus. (Unless it's relatively painless to pull that stuff out of the script file myself) Still, looking quite useful!
i think these times are just horrible for any industry. The Economy is bad, so that means less and less jobs, which stresses everyone out. I always try to remember that i get to make art and get paid for it. That makes it worth it. my 2 cents.
SWEET! At 99 cents its a steal! There's a learning curve but once you get the hang of it, it's a cool game. 3D shooter on iphone FTW!!! one crit tho: the tag line should be "More responsive controls than KillZone 2. Better story than the Bible."
I'm still not sold on the wood texture though. Just my two cents but it looks more like rock in terms of flow and jaggedness.. Other than that, really great work. I like the rock texture a lot. How long did it take you to paint it?
I think it's ok to call regular people, who are being stupid retarded. But it's not ok to call a mentally challenged person retarded. It's like the N word, 50 cent can use it all he wants, but I can't touch it . . . Fucking retarded double standards. . .
