Thanks. ^^ and I went and put it in the background barely visible as well. There are spaces though possibly not big enough, there isn't any bleeding that I can see so far in the engine so I guess its not a huge issue but in the future I'll try to pad my islands a bit more. -

I have to agree with matthewjvia on that one. I think the soldier's clothes are quite realistic in fact but the rather flat shaded and unrealistically stretched head makes for a rather odd contrast. Your hard surface and cloth skills are definitely up to scratch but the organic texturing is one area for future improvement. -

Re: How to set up UVs for hair
I've never done it for hair, but for stuff like that what I'd usually do is just UV the first one and then duplicate that mesh over and over again for all the other strands so that they'd all be UV'd already. I know this doesn't help you now, but for future reference and such... :P -

Blond... :) Anyways, this was a kind of a developer video I haven't seen yet by developrers, they can be surely proud. gj, I can clearly see evelation or tech and art. It is definitely a step forward from both of the points, and I can only hope , this attitude will be kept and will show in their future production. -

thanks D4V1DC, I was thinking about weapon, but I do a lot of hard surface modeling at work right now, maybe in future I will back to this character but for now I'm planing to sculpt something organic. Body UV was only for test baking, becouse of my laziness is a final version :) -

Hey Pixel! Seam placement is definitely important in the SUITE - but that may change in the future. What you can attempt to do is duplicate the layer that's producing visible seams, set its scale up or down a notch or two, and then paint in manually around the seam to minimize the seam's appearance or outright eliminate it. -

Not a fan of the xbone controllers, but I can definately see why they would do that. It's a strong partnership for Oculus and Microsoft... I wonder what this will mean for the Vive and future of Steam's stranglehold on pc games. Either way I'm really excited for VR, things will be changing in alot of ways very soon! :) -

I love designer... I am actively trying to work this more and more into my everyday pipeline. Watch Mike's GDC talk - http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=150007 to get an idea of why I think Designer is a key part of our current / future dev pipeline.
