I have this problem where I get this strange shadows when I render my image. I use 3D Studio Max, VRay render and the render setup i have image sampler: adaptive subdivision and antialiasing filter area. I use VRay lights only and VRay Physical Camera.
Hmm, none of your images are showing up for me. Maybe a setting in your site's Cpanel? I also have this problem with images hosted on my own site, maybe because Polycount is expecting https: links?
I assume it may differ for different genres. Especially where people use tiny small texel size . It dictates you certain visual "style" although . You do smaller texel size and could care less about per pixel precision for sure but because of that your textures turn to be super even and flat . You can't allow any…

Made this new dagger, I hatted the other with the snake!!! I across this image in google image and copied the knife, trying to make it as close to the real as posible... Made the copper wire around the bone handle much thicker.

we have wordpress intranet site with drag & drop upload for binary files. You can comment on images, but there's no way to annotate the image itself or draw on it, like in Alienbrain. We don't use it for art critique though.
If you want transparency with your imported PNGs, use a pure black background (0,0,0) in your image and it'll be understood as transparent in ZBRush. Then you can load the image in the Spotlight and use that to project it on a high poly surface.
I'm absolutely loving the green/red colours you're going with this. I'd have to agree with eric's image, a hard rim light would really make your image pop and increasing the contrast will add more interest.
