when i worked with my scene in udk using the last release i couldnt make the emmissive lights work, i made some research and it looks like its something epic has broken and never fix again

It's not next-gen till you add blue rim light! Thanks Epic! Looking nice man, I didn't expect the dirty sanchez stache, not sure how I'm feeling about it yet, but cool style on all the rest.
Man...how awesome is that. As far someone wasting time on something, i think this is for a MOD so its great you went the extra mile. Excellent practice :D Quality i expect from epic tbh. Sweetness :D
Has anyone purchased http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/store/product/534/Gears-of-War-Creature-Design ? Gears of war really appeals to me and epic games too. I'm really interested in their proffesional workflow. It's also not that exspencive £30 or so.
If your studio is licensing the engine, don't you have suppoort from Epic on stuff like this? Fire off an email to whoever your contact is and see if they have a solution. It's better than continuing to experiment with possible solutions if there aren't any.
But you know what? I'm sure whatever id has in store for us, Epic is already planning on outdoing. It's a vicious cycle. But as long as it's their we'll always be seeing awesome engines. Now...where's my fucking virtual reality already?!
Anyone who devalues the use of specular maps should really check out what Epic does. It might be their specific art direction but they are a work of art, I almost think they spend more time on those then their diffuse maps, lol.
New episode of season 6 is about some dude who collapses during crunch time and has some weird illnesses starts hallucinating the video game at one point! awesome episode! http://www.hulu.com/watch/100171/house-epic-fail
Epic encourages for people to use the free content they give out, so I decided "why not make an environment piece with it?" The idea was suppose to be some kind of restaurant set in a night time-ish setting. I might like the idea so much to model a better restaurant.
