I'm not sure if I can TPose it, because as this is a class assignment, I most rig the character. If I were to TPose, the wrinkles of the clothing wouldn't hold the correct volume. I am looking to make a game res character. I also plan on rigging it. I want to pose the model with a small animation. Import into UDK engine…
IIRC, the Container system doesn't work for rigging, as the Container acts essentially as a single item. You can't bind the bones in a Container to the Skin. We mentioned this problem to Autodesk in their last visit, so they're aware of it. Maybe it will change some day. I have heard that Maya has much better support for…
It does work, I tihnk. I think it works only becuase I THINK I know what you are asking. I have a maxscript that does this at work, it puts a grey texture on the model, a normal map in the bump slot then renders to texture using a light rig. This bakes out an OA image. I had a LOT of problems at the start by using a…
Ya I've been reading this book for a while ( [ame="https://www.amazon.com/MEL-Scripting-Character-Rig-Maya/dp/0321383532/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1328347790&sr=8-3"]Book[/ame] ), but its kind of dry and taking along time for me to go from reading it and using the concepts introduced in the book. What I'm really interested is…
thanks very much mate :) yer the bear will very soon be in the pack once they are both rigged but at the moment i have some more things to add/clean up and i cant rig it yet. yer i want him to kind of be abit kiddyish still beacuase he starts as a stuffed bear and changes much like peter puppy into a huge monster, i tried…
i bust the mesh up into pieces.. rig them all individually.. that way you can hide whatever you want.. then when everything is rigged.. and incase of a symetrical model.. half.. i save out skin data meshes from all the pieces.. put the mesh chunks(not the skindata ones!!)all together and add the weights from each piece one…
Things I'd improve - remodel a HP mesh of the clothing and include some wrinkles, will definately improve the overall look of the character and if you showing next gen models, most do have cloth wrinkles. - make her face a little less manny. - Improve that skin texture, needs more natural colors. - rig the character and…
Rig them with bones so they can sway. Set up the mesh to tear at whatever points you want. Make the cloth settings stiff so it doesn't collapse on itself. Uses PhysX, might be expensive. Or you can fake it with a rigged mesh and a pre-defined snap point. On break/destroy, play this animation/detach from this point. Might…
Now let's talk about how did I made my sounds: Blue particles: I used Dust to get some chimed granular stuff and make a ambiant pad out of it. Swamp background: I used Serum with a low pass filter and an LFOto get some modulations. Feathers: I used Dust for the magical flare and Reaktor for the swift part. Violet shine…
