Your images don´t work. It would be better to upload them to a third party hoster and just hotlink them with the image tag :) Ahh... and black text on grey background isn´t a good idea ;)
im having problems getting my images to show up on the forum. ive tried using code and the image attachment link. they don't seem to be showing up on the forum. What am I doing wrong?
Nice work, I dig the little dents and scratches but I agree Adam about the text in your images. They could be nice if this was for an in game informative image but for modeling presentation, just the model would do better.

Here are a few WIPs. They are far from being the prettiest images, but I believe that they are good to show how much the project changed along the way (and I'm posting them separately to not flood the main post with too many images)
I have my custom split texture node. like splitting one master file 2x2k into several vertical stripes like 256x2k or 64x2k etc. that does pixel precise splitting . It requires a special sizelog integer2 connection from master image node to splitting nodes that tells the splitting node the initial size of the master one.…
Im surprised you went with the first image as your more polished render. The bottom Left image has the most interesting information going on with the dock and stuff. Ide maybe work on making composition that keeps that in the frame.

Your proportions seem off. Did you use reference images aside from that one? That specific image you provided is harder to read. Most notable areas being the carry handle on top and the barrel area.
