@Ashervisalis Thank you! It is a good ideea, but unfortunately the procedural system limits me to use only right angles, but I think I can make some specific modular pieces with some angle variations at the end and place them manually.
They can all be bound to the same skeleton. That's what I did. Not the only way, I am sure you can make a system to swap out different skeletons, but just binding everything was the simplest thign I could think of and it works.
Hey Peter, I believe this is a known issue that we have logged in our bug system. If my memory serves me here, I think some users were able to improve this by sub-dividing the high poly mesh more.
Not sure how to do this. This idea is pretty good, although it did not work. Attempted it without the invisible texture. The particle system vanishes even when the particle is still on screen. ( when moving away from the particle spawner dropped by the player pawn)
Might be hidden geometry. What is the app, version, your system? Did you try delete the modifier, start a fresh scene, reimport your geo and test a sym mod on the new scene. If it still breaks test it on successive imported models.
Studica also do a Student Commercial license, which is straight up no limitations, no watermarked Unity Pro at a cut price. You can only install it on one system, though (regular Unity Pro license gets you two installs).
You may want to play around with ProjectionShell setting, maybe it just can't capture all the detail. Or maybe you don't have enough polys, the system should be able to transfer any kind of details from one mesh to another.
Cost of living is also a very important factor that really effects how you view salaries. You may barely be able to live on 45k in one city, but in another you can afford to buy a house with a new theater system on 35k
I don't think this is a known issue in our system, so if you can send a scene that reproduces that would be great. The simple test that you created sounds perfect. You can PM me or send an email to support@marmoset.co, thanks!
urrrhhh I felt uninspired, and inspired at the same time by this game that I keep playing and playing. So. To get it out of my system, here's someone from this game; I'l make a texturing tutorial for it too if there's interest for the style of the previous project.
