This! When I'm under a deadline and have several characters to skin, I just do a rigid pass with a minimal blend at the joints. I would like to see you desaturate it and lower the specular a bit. Since the concept is more grayish and everything is blending in much more. But otherwise really nice scene, just need to work on the "feeling" a bit. Maybe, desaturate in the post effect, lower the brightness so it is really dark and then add a low-density… -

Playing around with the eye height map depth slider. It's fun to experiment with pupil sizes on the fly and in context. Might modify the textures to have it be bigger. Might need to paint the rim of the eye lids same as the hair colors like I painted the scalp so it blends better with the hair. Happy with how dimensional… -

I agree with the others here that the scene lacks proper lighting and oriental atmosphere. Try to use vertex colors to simulate lighting. This could help you pop out protruding rock areas and grassy hills more. The grass and the trees seem to use the same color green. Try a darker shade of green so the leafs do not blend… -

you can also go to tools > channel info you can select the channel with the ID of Map and clear it, that will clear out the UV's. You can also duplicate your map channel - so if you need to make a 2nd uv channel for lightmaps or just texture blending, you can use your 1st uv unwrap as a base. -

Hi all I have been putting the dino into the engine to see what it looks like here are some screens of it. There are animations applied to the mesh but at this point they are not working for some reason even though both are blended in the animtree only one animation runs through I don't know why if anyone has any thoughts… -

Noltan: I can confirm that's what he's talking about. You've got the basics of the FA down, but as shown you need to extend the cylinder to connect fully with the receiver, you are correct. Thanks guys. @FreneticPonies I have rubble meshes planned out, they should help hide the repetition. @homart Yeah, I should do something about that, probably blend different textures with the noise brush. @ZacD Of course, looks much better now, I should work on the stairs and add some high walls, maybe a gateway. -

I don't care for 'exploration' per se, but one of my favorite games is wind waker. The exploration part was sort of on the side, but it blended so well within the story. There's just abandoned weird stuff all over the place and the game doesn't care if you find it. I think the cohesiveness of the art direction/technology…
