I don't know, I guess it's not for everyone, but I've actually really liked my yiynova msp19u. Most complaints about it seem trivial and not related to how well it actually draws (like screen resolution and vga cord)
Here's an update on my progress. Any feedback would be much appreciated! Here is the other side of the receiver. I had a hard time with it but ended up not to bad. The flap for the bolt can be flipped down as well but it's closed in this screen.
Worked all day on this.. I'm exhausted, but it's getting closer. Here's some screens: http://imgur.com/xBSdJgw,fHFP0ED,pVcFpOW#0 Oh, here is the second environment tileset and the glass material I made: Must get sleep...
Hi. That warning probably comes from your browser, it's noticing that the login screen is using http rather than https, which is more secure. It's been talked about in here before: http://polycount.com/discussion/190121/https
Here is the Lowpoly screen capture for the gun. Managed to get it under 3,000 tris which is under what I was aiming for so I can put some more detail in there if you think there needs to be. Crits always welcome
In fact it des " veeery" litlle of SS-SSS ( Screen Space Subsurface Scattering). I am experiencing the same thing right now. If I find a solution I will post it back here. Good luck and Godspeed ! :D
This looks incredible, i was pretty sad seeing as though i dont have an ipad to see its not iphone compatible. Although having watched the above vid i dont think the iphone screen size will do this justice!
I am confused to what you need help with. Are you worried about the polycount of your highpoly mesh? Can you post cleaner screens of the wires of your lowpoly. It is hard to see and understand what you are struggling with.
And ...my main project makes a return. Finally got rid of the problems in this model and got back on track, did a quick drawover a screen cap to plan what I was going to do. The belt is more or less a block out.
If this is just to improve you own understanding of anatomy, I would take a screen shot of what you have now and overlay it on to top of some good reference in Photoshop. http://www.anatomytools.com/anmfv1-1-3scale-p13.php
