Thanks metalliandy, that will be helpful in tracking down the screenshot/view discrepancy. Looks like some issue of color correction related to spotlights. Hopefully that'll be an easy fix for me to make.
As far as I know this is related to the API, and DirectX use Y-, and OpenGL use Y+. Maybe it also depends on the implementation of the shader since its very easy to flip a channel in it...
Potentially - what I would consider doing is first attempting a clean install of the SUITE. If that fails, try reinstalling Photoshop. If no one else is having the issue, it's likely related to the install.
With complete solution i mean that it takes all the stuff like rendering,sound,input,networking etc. away for you and you just have to write game related code.
