I think if they would just combine the sensel touch technology with one of those flexible screens, you would then be much closer to having a rival for the market leader. [ame] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pU0hb-2Srj4[/ame]
Tharle I agree, thanks for the tip... I'll try and make the detail more believable in the future. ivanzu thanks :) I'll post some high/low poly screens soon. Computron yup 100% Thanks all for the comments.
Seems like a way around it is to not assign materials in the load screen. Instead, wait until you've created your base and then assign the materials. That's how I got around the warning message. Note that you'll need to refresh 3DO.
By front leg do you mean the top of the shin or thigh? The knees shouldn't be to low, i took the screen shots from an upward angle, look at the side picture. Illl fix a couple things up and post back
Hmm, Warren, could you toss out a link to the one you use? And ya, I'm on a Intous Pro Large with a 27" 1440P screen. Perfect for modeling/sculpting/texturing. I rarely use my mouse now.
Will do, I'll look into royalty free stuff as well as probably do some stuff of my own. The screens in front of the camera have a slight depth of field to it. That might be what's making it seem low res. Thanks for the feedback.
Hey guys, I decided to dust off this project and polish things up a bit. I'll post some more screens in the coming days. I did a huge overhaul on the entire head and made some body tweaks
I don't know about turning them off, but you can minimize their visibility by (setting roughness up to 1 as you did) turning off Screen Space Reflections in postprocessing and by changing default cubemap to 1 colour.
In this post I describe the max texture issue more in depth: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?p=2120989#post2120989 Also for your seams, not sure what's going on there, maybe post a screen of your landscape layer UVs.
Really nice. It's strange but I feel like in all the TB2 screens I see, everything looks a bit plastic, no matter the material : skin, leather, metal, etc... well maybe it's just because people are not still used to it.
