Thanks! No there is a lot of work left to do. I'm planning to add more vegetations, add moss material on the walls and many many tasks to finish. In the end, I will publish it in unreal marketplace.
That looks better!! However, the scene looks a bit empty. Maybe is just me but I think there is something missing. Maybe after working a bit more on it and setting some moss and vegetation...
Without being able to run 8 bit transparency in Unreal it's pretty pointless comparing performance. Correct me if I'm wrong but I've yet to see a UE3 game using that on vegetation.
WIP #2 Total Worked Hrs: ~17 hrs Slow update, Worked on the terrain detail texture, cliff rock and ocean. Still need tweaking but for now, I'll move to vegetation.
Small update, got a little bit more done. Still need to paint the enemies in the foreground and maybe add some varying vegetation like different flowers and vines. [IMG][/img]
I agree with Jeff too, a bit more contrast would go a long way. It is looking really nice, I like your the vegetation in particular. It reminds me of World of Warcraft.
I did some rock exploration, with minor vegetation accented in there. Not a ton of stylization here, so that's something I'd like to push more before settling on any one design I think.
Your speaking of the free SDK that comes with that Forest Map thing, yeah that only comes with assets made specifically for the free sdk, just a bunch of tree's and houses and vegetation, nothing from Crysis.
