TUESDAY STUDIES - WEEK 1 ANATOMY SPEEDSCULPT Due to my streaming, I have accidentally created a huge library of speed sculpts. I'll be posting them here as I render them (I just got Keyshot and have no idea what I am doing, haha).
Do whatever it takes to make your model look good. You could render it in vray, keyshot.. ect paint on extra lighting. If you aren't able to get the look you want from one render, do a couple and compile. Just make it look as good as possible!
Hey Brian, I don't have a specific reference sheet. Just a collection of images across different games but primarily focused on screenshots from the trailer of the remake (and other images to fill in gaps) Here's a small update. Tweaked the face and hair a bit more and experimenting with lighting in Keyshot.
Update: Fixed the bulbous tyres. Changed the lights at the back and added a rear bumper for attaching stuff. @HitmonInfinity dude your high poly renders are pretty sweet. Are you just rendering out of max/maya or using keyshot or something? I always struggle making nice renders.
Check out the turn around at: http://youtu.be/xqBH1Q5-GUc My hard drive crashed and I lost all of the files before I was able to back them up. Modeled in Maya, used Photoshop to create the textures, used Keyshot to project some of the textures and to render.
Here is some Gun Screenshot. All Other objects also done, Just need to do the refining pass. Will post the screenshot Soon. For the ornate details, some are alphas and few poly modeled, zprojected and few are handdrawn. Also, i rendered in keyshot.
Thanks guys, I know im not choosing the easiest way to do this.. but I would rather find myself building her in CC and zbrush, animating in clone using a low poly proxy mesh and rendering the final turntable in renderman or even keyshot if it means getting the right end result
Now that the semester started, I won't have as much time as before for doing these studys since I have to work on my semester project :D But I continued working on my boy of silence. The arms and legs are blockouts obviously. Also got my hands on keyshot and testing it for rendering.
Took it to keyshot to figure out the materials. This is not a true representation of the materials, but rather a preview of what needs to be done. Ready to take it to low poly, then make material in Painter then the other armor. I'll use the same base materials from this armor set to put to the other 2, which is still in…
Looking for feedback and critique, so don't be shy! Based on the Manticore from Disgaea, model is 50358 triangles. Gif Turnarounds: High poly renders in keyshot: And here's what the model is based on: Thanks for looking at my post, let me know if theres something wrong with my post or model.
