@Mallaria Love the concept! Fun accessories as well. I know she is completely stylized but man her waist is small and hips/thighs are huge in comparison to her head. I'm sure it's intentional but my two cents would be to tone it down a bit. Otherwise, FANTASTIC.
In Deus Ex : HR , the environment looks pretty sterile and squeaky clean. In the image you just posted the textures looks kind of cloudy and dirty, removing all that and adding a bit of "glossiness" to it will make it more deus ex-ish. Again, just my 2 cents :)
yeah I see what you're saying, but running can be the first step towards that, because generally the more you run, the more healthy and physically fit you get overall, which in turn will allow you to workout harder. just my two cents
one awesome point is that people do not have to download the Unity web player...waiting for content to load isn't what it used to be ...where most people will wait for a game to load...a huge percentage will not install the unity web player first...just my 2 cents
Too much stuff to go through. Is all of that your best work? Nice site, I think that if you toned it down to maybe 5-6 of your best stuff you'd be golden. My two cents. Then again, if all of that is your best, consider leaving it.
shit yeah! amazon is the best place to buy cables :) 1 cent HDMI cables: [ame]http://www.amazon.com/HDMI-Cable-2M-6-Feet/dp/B0002L5R78/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1294770869&sr=1-1[/ame] :)
why is the thumbnails focused to the upper torso? maybe a note that it opens to quicktime, my two cents on my research of demo sites would be to add jpeg images with your contact information on them. I really like the bridge and the gravestone, your environmental objects are strong.
sorry to hear you didn't get the job. Good start with the textures. You can probably add some more subtle colour variation to the skin and the yellow could maybe go to a slightly darker gold. Just my 2 cents anyway. Looking good.
i think these times are just horrible for any industry. The Economy is bad, so that means less and less jobs, which stresses everyone out. I always try to remember that i get to make art and get paid for it. That makes it worth it. my 2 cents.
Bring up your resolution and hit the Project button under the Dynamesh menu. It should make it so you don't lose the detail. I'm new still relatively new to Zbrush, but just my 2 cents. At about 4 min in part 2 of this tutorial
