This scene just became available on the Unity Asset Store if anyone is interested. https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/69650 I also did a night time lighting pass on this scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qn5ywF_ku8E
Id say, there's not enough contrast in the scene. Also, u should add small lense flair effects on every light to make it feel brighter. Have a look at that bath house scene that was posted a few months ago.
AHA! I see, you need to have a skybox that is bright enough to be able to have the skylight work My scene is a night-time scene that's why it looks like crap :) haha anyway thanks thanks for the info
Here's an update on where its at. I'm just chunking out the scene for now and still have have more to do. But I want to solidify the silhouette of the scene before I go in and do any real modeling.
Maybe it's just because you haven't started texturing it yet, but it feels very "tropical" just now for a Viking Scene. Maybe cut down on the foliage and add in some harder angles to the scene as a whole? If that makes sense.
Found this thread i made a while ago...i still have the same problems in that scene! If i make a brand new scene i can make JS work perfect So something else going on.
Try to give the scene a purpose. Why is it there? What kinds of things would this area be used for? That'll help with the generic feel as well. It looks like a solid scene so far, push it a bit further and it'll be amazing.
Awesome work ! I really like the vibrance you've got in your scene, it's refreshing. I have been doing photogrammetry for a long time now, but still couldn't manage to build a proper scene out of it :pleased:
That is some lovely texture and presentation work! I would LOVE to see a little scene with this style, you should deffo work on a little museum corner scene for your portfolio or something dude, this looks very sharp!
Another prop done for the final scene, I wanted to pay a bit of respect to Mamoru Oshii and Shinobu Tsuneki for their awesome work, so what better than a Section 9 badge to hide away somewhere in the scene.
