I quite like the character designs, although I would agree with cholden that their texturing blends them too easily with the background; this could become frustrating if these are enemies that you're unable to pin-point. I would say the texture resolution of the trees needs to be increased, or at least the stretching… -

Unfortunately, for movable lights, there is no real solution for this other than the cast shadow and its bias setting. Since you are in Unreal, you can try adding some contact shadows on top and see if it helps.Depending on the shape of the elements of the asset, enbling 2 sided material can also help, if there are holes… -
