Cola cola bottle I made in my spare time, I'm thinking of completing it and using it as a prop in some ruins. And a first attempt on a weapon I made last year.
Would be good idea to apply (just like you did with normal map) the color texture to that weapon first. Also your UVs appear to be overlapping, you don't want that.
My biggest problem with FFXIV was the insanely boring crafting. In order to get any good weapon you had to do hours and hours of crafting. Also the AH was a pain in the ass.
should try to find tyson murphy's video on texturing weapons somewhere on the web https://www.3dmotive.com/v101801 thats the 3dmotive link to the exact videos im talking about
I know that if you want particles, you need to add points from which the particles originate somehow... I remember there being a tutorial on this with one of Anti-Mage's weapons.
Picked back up and doing some stylized PBR for this. Already testing on weapon. High poly for Pirate almost done. Need to go back over hair and leg wraps.
Here is my WIP. Suggestions and critiques are welcome. Any advice on best way to embed the GIF will also be appreciated:) Wukong's weapon is magically floating around helping him to swing.
texturing , making the weapon i think next step is breaking the symetrycal and then posing/beauty shot and for tomorrow retopology and baking the texture ! i hope i ll finish it on time =)
I followed the guide and everything, but when I go to look at it in-game, it only shows the default weapon instead of mine. I'm not receiving any errors when importing either.
Yep I was referring to more character accessories, maybe that's where the confusion came from - for vehicle/weapons I would use more hard surface modeling than sculpting :)
