There might be an easier way, but the way I do it is by using the BPR function. If you do a BPR render (the little button on the upper right of the default layout, keyboard shortcut Shift+R), you can go into the Render -> BPR Renderpass menu and click on the "Mask" pass, allowing you to save that mask out for future use.… -

Thx for the reply i managed to make it work :P according to your example but its seems it work different than normal opacity maps like it collides with other textures that share the same color as the mask or i'm doing/understanding something wrong. When you say "group" do you mean the function in the Group menu in Max? A Group in Max is merely a hierarchical linkage, hiding the children from Max's UI. So the Group itself is a dummy node. You know i tried it, but it was a bit too glitchy for me. the sensitivity for the pen pressure wasnt correct. I thought it was something on my computer but when i switched to 2015 it worked fine. Also the retopologize function in 2016 was crashing my computer way too much compared to the 2015 version. Until 2016 comes out… -

It should be fine if you use modifiers from the program you use, something like symmetry or mirror functions, and merge the vertices that overlap.
