@PraxisPixels I just use the basic crease tool for the details...You can check out the steps along the wips (but they are not in order). Also thanks, I'm glad you liked it!
Well that certainly saves a step from sub dividing a cube and using the to-sphere scaling. If you don't know that I'm referring to, it's alt-shift-s. edit: It was alt, not ctrl.
Wow, nice job everyone. I'm really gonna have to step it up. Ani: Don't you be teasing me, darlin'! Getting back to this. First texture pass on the traveler.
texturing , making the weapon i think next step is breaking the symetrycal and then posing/beauty shot and for tomorrow retopology and baking the texture ! i hope i ll finish it on time =)
Your steps sound mostly right but I think there's a gotcha somewhere, unfortunately I can't spare any time in UDK to double check as I'm at work right now.
Please do MoP -- that would be fantastic! Thanks for all the other comments everyone. This is extremely helpful! I'm going to step through Vig's post and check out Spatz' link.
Thx, didn't do much today, need to step it up tomorrow. But here is an update. Don't have time to break up symmetry to much. But I will trywith the bags and stuff.
I have come to the realization that my 2D foundation is way too weak, so I'm stepping out of the third dimension for a while. Here's a rough value study. Reference
Fuck yeah, definitely a step in the right direction (more like a giant leap in the right direction). Now just make it look lived in and have a purpose, and you're onto a winner.
