No no don't worry that's not the final renders, those are just screen grabs from substance. I will be importing this into Unreal and Marmoset as well with a 3-point light set up to get some much nicer renders :)
Next project, "Who ya gonna call" I am trying to learn Blender this summer so there is nothing like a project to force yourself to learn a new piece of software. UE4 screen shot
Updated to 1.3.2 now Too lazy to reformat the text for html, so here's a screenshot. (taken with my new tool!) ****New to 1.3.2 **** Take Screen Shot http://www.matthewlichy.com/videos/screenshot/screenshot.html
Of course, I'll see later on to post on the link you proposed. I currently work on a material of carbon fiber . I will make two versions, one clean and one dirty. (wip) Marmo screen
I think I know what he means. Try locking your camera to the Y axis Froyok, you'll find that option just to the right of the screen by default :) The camera will behave like a turntable then.
I'm using static. I don't have that much experience in dynamic lighting. I should also mention all the screen shots had the lighting baked on preview mode so it is low quality.
Completed the initial Mock-up. Some of the features don't work or aren't unique enough from the original design. I've penned in my own thoughts on what can change on the screen grab attached.
I think it's the lack of reflection on the screen that's bother me the most. Try putting in a HDR map in the environment slot in mental ray and see if you can't get some reflections going with your materials.
Wacom Intuos 4. Used the cintiq 13 hd for a while but switched back to the old trusty intous 4. Kind of felt uncomfortable drawing directly on screen, guess you have to become accustomed to that.
New updates. All ui you see in the pics is fully functional. I plan to add quite a bit more before release. Here are a couple of new screens. I will capture a video soon.
