I really really dislike the idea of having a top row like zbcentral I do however like the idea that all mods can be in power of adding/changing to the rotating banner. That would be so refreshing. Most of the awesome art shown in this thread alone I've never even seen before (and I consider myself a very active member) -

I made my online portfolio with wordpress too: http://www.theartofvictorsantos.com/ As David-J said it's always nice to have a "home" button to return to the main page. You can make pretty cool stuff under the limitations of wordpress but it's a powerful tool to make an online portfolio.… -

maybe too late, but maybe give both arms the hell boy/wolverine look? big hands with claws coming out? right now it just seems very voltron/power ranger-ish. might as well go with a foot of the flash, the eyes of cyclops and the breast of rogue. just saying the hellboy/wolverine features just seem slapped on. -

Still really liking blender, i got the fried chicken branch recently and I like the new smoke simulator features, as well as the pre-set installed themes! using the maya one now. I still find it really powerful for VFX shots, however the smoke simulator is definitely one of the more fiddly ones to sculpt the forms. -

I prefer the in-editor version as well. When you have levels with different lighting and post processes, seeing your work in the game is crucial. That said, if you're focused more on non-level dependent effects like spells you would see in an MMO/RPG, then having the most powerful/easy to use particle editor is the most… -

The thing with the motivation thing is, I needed to get past it. One thing that helps me is to enjoy the parts I like, and power through the parts I don't. I don't let procrastination or distractions get in the way. I focus on that feeling of getting really excited by my work, so I can get past the tough or boring bits. -
