impressive Rorshach u guys at epic are indeed very talented ! what software dop you use to make that ? could you plz show us a wireframe with some close ups ? keep at it !
There you have it - Epic's very own Hawkprey opening the max file for the first person variant of the UT3 machnegun before a baffled audience. Looks stupid from the side view but great ingame!
Cool thanks for the info. I'm well versed in manually unwrapping and baking environments but I'm always looking for a better automatic solution, doesn't sound like epic has anything magical in this respect.
Amazing work! Thanks for sharing! There's so much style in this, environment are epic, with a great feel of wilderness and hugeness. I'd love to see your ND art test, and more "behind the scene" stuff!!
ooooh, ok. I'll give that a shot. Thanks for the shiny picture Edit: Yeah that works great :) . Now just if someone could somehow do the same for the top of the box, that would be epic :D
ror: Wasn't Quake supposed to be some fantasy RPG? If you select preview in the first three Commander Keen games it tells you about some epic RPG with a character named Quake.
mate!, sucks to hear bout this - hope the family and yourself get an epic redundacy package - honestly though, I can't see you being in trouble for long with your level of art and skillset.....
well 10 bucks is a great price to get a lot of hawkprey's (and other epic greats) work in one place... aaand i just bought it. damn you, amazon.com one click ordering.
I like my metal comprehensible and epic. Kamelot [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-TUufvK0gU[/ame] Angra [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=276M-ZYLI4s[/ame]
Pretty much what Glynn was talking about. (http://www.eriklarsson.net/shader_window.html) Reading in a power point about procedural buildings, Epic mentioned doing this as layers and using the camera vector and offset with that. Haven't tried it yet.
